Creating a contact

A contact is a person inside an account. The fastest way to a contact is auto-creation from an inbound email or WhatsApp thread — but manual creation is straightforward when you need it.

Steps

  1. Open the account the person belongs to.
  2. Click Add contact on the contacts panel.
  3. Fill name, email, phone, and WhatsApp number where you have them.
  4. Assign one or more persona slots from the active template — see Persona templates.
  5. Save.

Phone and WhatsApp are separate fields

Lots of contacts use a personal mobile for WhatsApp and a different work line for voice. The two columns let inbound WhatsApp threads match the contact even when the phone number on file doesn’t match.

Persona slot coverage

When you save, the parent opportunity’s persona-coverage panel updates. A vacant Economic Buyer slot on a $200k deal is the kind of signal the deal-risk flagger looks for.
