Reading the flash report

The flash report at /reports/flash is your weekly pre-call read — five numbers in five minutes, picked because they catch the trends a forecast number alone hides.

The week boundary

“This week” in the flash report means Monday 00:00 local time to the following Monday 00:00. We use a calendar-anchored week rather than “last 7 days” because the operator’s mental model of “this week’s deals” is calendar, not rolling — a deal closed Sunday is last week, not this week.

The cards

  • New logos — opportunities that crossed into the “won” column this week.
  • Net pipeline — sum of value added to open opportunities this week, minus value removed (closed-lost or deleted).
  • Activity volume — count of activities this week, with last week’s number alongside as a delta.
  • At-risk deals — open opportunities the deal-risk-flagger agent has flagged.
  • Unforecasted — open opportunities missing a commit, likely, or best.

How to use it

Read it before your weekly forecast call. The deltas matter more than the absolutes — “activity volume down 40% week-on-week” is a louder signal than “activity volume 312.”
